I have been teaching and tutoring college students for the past 7 years, and just returned home to Denver with my PhD. I am an expert in English Language and Literature, and in other related humanities disciplines, like history and philosophy. Anything with a humanities angle, and that involves writing and reading, is therefore fair game.

Hobbies

Not only am I a born teacher and educator, but I also have an inborn love of travel. I've literally been all over the world, and am most proud of climbing the Great Pyramid in Egypt, hiking up to the great lost city of Machu Picchu in Peru, flying out to Easter Island, visiting virtually every major city in Europe, and teaching Thai students in far-flung Chiang Mai. I in turn bring a love of the outside world with me, and at times can't help waxing poetic about the places I've been... ideally as a way to inspire my students to set out on their own world adventures.
