Education
MFA, Creative Writing/Fiction, Fairfield University BA, English Literature, University of Colorado at Boulder
Experience
I am a 2009 graduate from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a BA in English Literature. I received my Masters of Fine Arts in Creative Writing at Fairfield University, concentrating in fiction. I achieved a 4.0 GPA. I work as a freelance editor, specializing in student papers and academic endeavors, as well as creative work. I’ve taught several seminars to high school and college students and have also worked as a Teaching Assistant in an MFA workshop. I've also work as a writing/reading tutor with the Learning Effectiveness Program at the University of Denver, which involves working with students with learning disabilities. It is my hope that I can impart some of the passion I have for learning in my own life and help to create a positive learning community where individuals have an opportunity to successfully explore how they might come to better express themselves in a clear, concise manner, and how they might take this skill and apply it to the rest of their lives.
