EducationJohns Hopkins University - BS, Physics
ExperienceI am currently an undergrad at Johns Hopkins University, where I am in the process of acquiring my bachelor's degree in physics and biophysics. I am also currently following pre-medical studies. While in college, I began to realize how important an education really is. I then decided that I would take up tutoring myself. I find it rewarding and fulfilling to teach. I have taught and tutored in both formal and informal settings. I have worked with students in middle school and high school. I find my experiences working with the students to be satisfying and worthwhile.I tutor a number of different subjects. However, I am especially dedicated to SAT and ACT preparation. I also enjoy tutoring the subject of physics. As for my tutoring style, my main goal is to have my students clearly and fully understand what they are being taught. When information is fully understood, it is retained, and then that information can assist the student in their future academic development and growth. While I have many academic passions, I also have many other non-academic passions that I enjoy and partake in. In my free time, I like to play competitive soccer and hockey. I also play the piano and enjoy listening to good music.
HobbiesI competitively play hockey and soccer, am a practicing pianist, and enjoy reading and music in my free time.
