Education
I graduated from the University of Arizona in 2010 with my bachelors in history and sociology. Shortly after I graduated (about two days later), I began my masters program through the UofA. Teach Arizona was an intensive one year teacher preparation course designed to build highly motivated and successful teachers to serve high school aged students.
Experience
I have worked as a high school teacher for the past 5 years with an array of students. I am passionate about student success in school and I believe that my experience as a teacher has molded my view on how students should be instructed within the school system. I tutored throughout high school and college to earn extra income and as a teacher I would stay after school to help students with any material that they were struggling to understand (regardless of the content area!). I was an Advanced Placement history teacher during my tenure as an instructor and am now looking to work individually to help students reach their goals!

Hobbies
After moving to Colorado I became a rugby coach for the high school where I worked. I have been coaching and playing rugby since I was in college and, while at the University of Arizona, went to the national championships two of the three years I played. I love to remain active and find every opportunity that I can to be outside in this beautiful CO weather. I enjoy hiking and camping and when I'm not coaching rugby you can find me either in the mountains or at the gym.
