I attended Rollins College and received a B.S. in Mathematics. While I have never formally tutored students, I have spent a lot of time working with children. I am currently a coach for a kindergarten girls' soccer team. In addition to coaching, I work as an au pair for two families. Along with my experience, I have grown up with younger siblings and cousins, and I helped care for them in various functions.Mathematics is my favorite discipline, and I am capable of tutoring any subject within it. I have always excelled at mathematics. When I enrolled in college, I decided to major in it because it was a discipline that I truly enjoyed. As a teacher, I believe students should pursue the subjects that they enjoy doing. I don't believe in being forced to study a subject that one finds boring or pointless, as I was never made to study subjects that I did not enjoy. Students should be engaged and want to try and learn more, and that can only be achieved through having a genuine interest.Outside of mathematics, I love playing soccer, watching football, and going snowboarding. I also love being outdoors, so activities like camping, hiking, and swinging in a hammock are also very enjoyable.
